Frequently asked questions

Lessons are on-going every week and on 1st May, Labour Day. For major public holidays, there will be no lessons. Please refer to the Public Holiday Dates for your reference.

A short term break of up to a week may be scheduled. Lessons will resume after that.

Replacement lessons will be arranged for missed lessons during the two terms: January to May and July to November. Tuition fees for missed lessons during these two terms are non-refundable. 

Yes, your child can attend up to 2 paid trial lessons (pay per lesson).

The fee will be adjusted to one-on-one tuition rate. The group tuition rate is applicable if a minimum of 2 students turn up for the lesson.

Yes. Extra lessons may be arranged for students who require additional help, subject to our time slot availability.

Parents are encouraged to send in their child’s May and October English and Math exam schedules as early as possible so that lessons can be planned to match their exam periods.  Due to different school schedules, exact matching may not be possible. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Please contact us for a customised English  and Math programme.  We recommend students to have 4 to 20 contact hours with us every week to prepare themselves adequately for AEIS and S-AEIS.

Yes. Payment is required before the start of the monthly lessons, latest by 3rd of the month. A late fee of $50 will be imposed for payments received after this date.

Yes. There is a non-refundable deposit of 2 lessons fee which will be collected together with the first month tuition fee. 

A mixture of assessment books and additional materials for the tuition programme will be used. Material fee is chargeable every year. There is no refund nor return of unused worksheets should the students discontinue with us at any point in time. 

Please notify us one month in advance. Your non-refundable deposit (2 lessons fee) will be used to offset the last 2 lessons, following the end of the current month's lesson. Any unattended lessons will be deemed as forfeited after 1 month grace period.
